Basic Bone Broth 🦴

This recipe is usea grass fed beef bones, but you can substitute making the broth with whole organic chicken, whole fish, or just simply leave it out. Bone broth is an easy way to repair your gut and is one of the main entrees in the GAPS Diet, which is based on the principles developed by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride. The diet is often used to treat children with disorders rooted in the gut, but just about anybody with allergies or leaky gut can benefit by drinking bone broth. Ingredients: 💥2-3 pounds of beef marrow or knuckle bones (I like to drizzle them with olive oil, salt, pepper and grill them for 8-10 minutes on the grill) 💥1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar (helps the marrow to be released from the bones) 💥2 celery stalks 💥 2-3 carrots quartered 💥handful of Italian parsley 💥1 white onion 💥 fresh ginger- as much as you like 💥3 quarts of filtered water Take all the ingredients (except the bones) sauté for 10 minutes with olive oil. Add the bones and water and let simmer for 24 hours. Let the broth cool and strain it. You can store it up to 5-7 days in refrigerator. Enjoy! Dr. E Basic Bone Broth Recipe 🧅🧄🦴
